“The Covey opened in September 1993 our having returned to Bristol with 2 young children only to find the Community had no local Pre-School. The Covey Nursery opened in September 2003.
To date we have had over 2000 children join us, some of whom have grown up and have families of their own.
The Company name was chosen by Nigel. His family used the name for their address as our surname “Partridge” is “a collection of Partridge’s “, using 2 birds within our logo.

Nigel is the Company Secretary and Finance Director having had 30 years in Banking whereas Sheila is the Managing Director, Safeguarding & Welfare Officer and special Educational Needs Co-ordinator undertaking the day to day operation of the Pre-School and Nursery offering Parents a high standard of care and Education within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Our girls now have children who also attend the Nursery with our eldest running her own Company Limelight Hair Studio (Riverside Leisure Club) and our youngest working alongside myself as Deputy and Senior Manager.”
